WebApr 7, 2009 · The Profiler heads were 64cc/ 195cc/ 2.02/1.60 Valves, everthing else the same other than the rockers and we decided to use an Edelbrock 650CFM carb. After a few pulls we saw 404HP @5600RPM/438TQ @ 4000RPM. Dropped just a few HP, but gained 24ftlbs of torque and again this is with a 1.5 rocker rather than the 1.6 thats normally used. WebJun 13, 2010 · This is an engine that will be run 99% of the time on the bottle, thus the cam specs. Heads were 2.055/1.60's. After some work they flowed just over 300cfm @.500 and 310ish @ .700. This was the first set of "newer" Profiler sb's I've done. I have to say that out of the box these were the best flowing head in that catagory I've ever had on my bench. WebJan 23, 2015 · Out of the box as cast heads that make good power and get even better with hand porting. Or added CNC porting. Brodix IK200 Profiler 23deg 195cc or 210cc Dart Pro I aluminum 200cc or 215cc Lots of similar cast iron head choices. EG GMPP Bowtie Vortec 185 or 225cc port volume versions.
WebMay 25, 2010 · The Profiler 210's out of the box flow as well as most of the other guys cnc'd heads in the same catagory. I've used about all of 23° heads and had them across my bench at one time or another. I have to say I was more than a bit skeptical when i saw the advertised numbers. Well the results are in. 406 SBC, AFR 210 heads, 13.2 compression, Holley Strip Dominator intake topped with a 1" HVH super sucker spacer, Cam Motion cam (Duration @.050 263/273, Lift .708/.646, LSA 110), 950 HP E85 carb, 1 3/4 headers. Peak TQ with 1 7/8 headers was 544. Not sure what size to go with here as both heads are about the same price. I know most people recommend running 195s on 355 builds but thought I would get more opinions. They respond well to porting. Pro-Filers make power out of the box. CNC ported AFRs do too, but at a huge price. 210 heads are too big for that 421. Not when you have a 195 head that flows practically the same.
