WebMar 21, 2024 · Shortly before 9 a.m. on Thursday (March 21), Orangeville Hydro reports a fuse popped in the area near Maple Crescent, Lawrence Avenue and Dawson Street. While the fuse issue has knocked out power to 25 customers in the area, it caused a larger power outage impacting more than 3,000 customers when the feeder downstream malfunctioned. WebOrangeville Hydro says the power outage continues in the Grand Valley area. Both Orangeville Hydro and Hydro One customers are affected after a pole caught fire on Amaranth Street. All of Orangeville Hydro’s 1,000 customers in Grand Valley are affected and some power has been restored but is still out for 100 Hydro One customers.
